New Associate strengthens Commercial Property Team
Shulmans LLP, leading Leeds-based corporate solicitors, has appointed Andrew Brockett as an associate within its Commercial Property team.
Brockett, 31, has joined Shulmans from Walker Morris where he was an associate within their Commercial Property team.
He brings to the role a wealth of experience in sales and acquisitions, estate management, development and renewable energy. Prior to his role at Walker Morris, he held a senior position with high profile, international law firm Bird and Bird LLP and prior to that spent four years prior with Nabarro LLP.
Brockett who lives in Biggin, North Yorkshire, said: “The outstanding reputation of Shulmans’ Commercial Property team was a very strong incentive to join the firm. And of course Shulmans’ consistent year on year growth over the past five years combined with its recent move to the landmark Wellington Place was more than compelling. Shulmans is a firm where talent flourishes.
“I intend to focus on using my expertise and knowledge of both the national, regional and London markets to benefit our current business and help grow our client base.”
Simon Jackson, head of Commercial Property at Shulmans, added: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to Shulmans; he further enhances our position as one of the leading property teams in the region. As a firm that has been acknowledged by a number of awards, his appointment serves to show our intent not to rest on our laurels, but to grow further as a team and a firm across all sectors of the legal industry.”
