Cartwright King merges with Manchester’s Garstangs Burrows Bussin

Law firms Cartwright King merges with Manchester-based Garstangs Burrows Bussin in a deal that takes effect from 1st July.

The move means Cartwright King will secure a significant presence in the North West with offices in Manchester and Bolton.

The deal welcomes three new directors, Mike Garstang, Richard Cornthwaite and Anthony Harris and 20 staff, bringing Cartwright King’s newly enlarged firm to over 250 employees.

Managing director of Cartwright King, Rupert Hawke, said: “I am delighted to announce this merger, which will not only boost Cartwright King’s presence in the capital, but give us a significant footprint in the North West – the new Northern powerhouse.
