Appleyard Lees Celebrate Exam Success

Four trainees from leading Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys, Appleyard Lees are celebrating having passed the recent European Qualifying Exams (EQEs).

Chris Mason, Ellie Purnell, Harrison Chang and James Myatt have now passed all of the exams necessary to qualify them as European Patent Attorneys. The four individuals work across the firm’s Manchester and Leeds offices and each specialise in a variety of sectors including biotechnology, electronics and organic chemistry. All did very well with Chris Mason scoring exceptionally in his patent drafting examination, achieving one of the top marks in the whole of Europe.
