Oakhouse Foods unlocks North West expansion with NatWest support
Ready meal services franchise Oakhouse Foods has expanded in Manchester with funding from NatWest.
The firm, which employs nine people but expects to hire more as the business expands, now provides ready meals for hundreds of customers across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cheshire.
The owner of the new Oakhouse Foods, Matthew Brennand, said: “I had been looking to run my own business for a while and Oakhouse Foods was the right fit for me.
“We provide meals to people in sheltered accommodation as well as those living independently and also provide grocery services.”
He continued: “It’s a great job because you are providing a much-needed service to people who really appreciate the work you are doing.
“I had been working for my father’s family-run business but I really wanted to be my own boss and develop my own business plan.”
When Matthew needed funding to open the business he turned to Teena Wallace, a relationship manager with NatWest.
Teena commented: “I was delighted to support Matthew and the opening of Oakhouse Foods.
“Matthew is committed to providing a reliable service to customers and I wish him every success for the future.”
