Poynton law firm to expand services with RBS finance
A law firm in Cheshire is hoping to achieve growth after securing a £150k funding boost.
Stratford Solicitors, based in Poynton, hopes to use the refinancing package from the Royal Bank of Scotland to launch a new mediation service.
Nick Stratford, the company’s founder and managing partner, said: “We have a long-standing relationship with the bank and were looking to restructure our facilities to ensure we have a robust platform from which to grow.
“Earlier this year I qualified as a mediator which means I can mediate in all aspects of law excluding family law.”
He continued: “This has added an additional service to our current legal offering and brought new opportunities for the firm.”
Founded in 2006, the business currently employs a team of nine from its base on London Road South.
RBS relationship manager Iain Smith commented: “As a long-term supporter of the firm I understand the refinance facility that Nick was looking for and was able to tailor a package.
“Stratford Solicitors has a great reputation locally and we are delighted to work closely with Nick and the team to support their growth ambitions.”
