BCL Legal included in Sunday Times’ 2016 Lists
BCL Legal - one of the UK’s leading legal recruitment consultancies which has offices in London, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool and Bristol – is starting the New Year with a bang after being named as one of the ‘Small Best Companies to Work For’ (50 to 250 employees) in the Sunday Times lists for 2016.
This is the annual ranking of the cream of Britain’s happy and motivated workforces. Its appearance each year is now a highly anticipated event in the business calendar.
The methods of data-gathering and analysis employed in the quest to find the country’s Best Companies to Work For mean that the lists are widely acknowledged as the most extensive research into employee engagement carried out in this country.
All the scores and ratings that are assessed to compile the lists are based on employee opinions, and each year the questionnaires are revised and updated to reflect current workplace concerns.
BCL Legal has been awarded a three star accreditation (extraordinary) which is the top tier of the four available categories. The firm’s exact place on the final list will be announced at a ceremony in London on 24th February. The Sunday Times will then be running its Best Companies to Work For supplement on Sunday 28th February.
James Batt – managing director of BCL Legal – said: “As a business, we put our people at the very heart of everything we do so gaining this kind of recognition is a real milestone in our 13 year history. For us, having an inclusive and motivated culture is key as we passionately believe in collaboration, accountability and team-work.
James added: Our focus is always on nurturing our own talent and promoting from within. We know that inspiring our team isn’t just about financial rewards; it’s also about providing ongoing training and support as well as promoting an environment where people want to take ownership and succeed.
James concluded: The fact that being on the list is directly as a result of our teams’ own comments makes it even more special.“
