Yorkshire-based finance provider wins top industry award
Yorkshire-based credit card provider Vanquis Bank has been awarded the Moneyfacts Award for Credit Builder Card Provider of the Year for the second year running.
The Consumer Moneyfacts awards are the results of undertaking the largest financial services survey in the country, in which the winners are decided based on feedback from customer surveys, along with a panel of specialists from the financial services industry.
The awards were presented at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel, London and were attended by the leading financial providers in the industry.
Part of the Provident Financial Group, Vanquis Bank has already provided credit to over 3 million people, even though they may have previously been turned down for credit elsewhere. It employs over 400 people in its head office, based on Godwin Street, Bradford.
Sion O’Connor, Marketing Director at Vanquis Bank, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have won the Credit Builder Card Provider of the Year award for the second year running. We had some strong competition in the category so it is a real achievement for us.
“Everything we do at Vanquis is focused around our customers so when they say we are the best in our sector it really does make us proud. Our staff work tirelessly to offer our customers the best service possible, so this award is a real credit to them.”
