Free employment seminar will help decision makers to protect their businesses
A breakfast seminar on May 19 in Sheffield will equip decision makers with tips on how to solve common HR and employment issues and protect their businesses.
The free event at the Holiday Inn will be hosted by hlw Keeble Hawson whose employment law team, led by partner Barry Warne, is recommended by Legal 500 for its particular expertise in dismissals and disciplinary matters across sectors including manufacturing and engineering.
Barry Warne said: “The session will cover questions which we are frequently asked such as ‘Can I dismiss a disabled person?’, ‘is it possible to dismiss someone for personality reasons?’ - and ‘can I discuss retirement with older employees?’. The session is particularly relevant to HR directors and managers, business owners and senior personal with a responsibility for HR along with payroll administrators and HR consultants.”
With offices in Sheffield, Leeds and Doncaster, hlw Keeble Hawson is one of the region’s biggest law firms which employs 250 people.
Places are limited at the seminar which runs from 8.30am-10.30. To reserve a place, email simongorman@hlwkeeblehawson.co.uk or call 0114 290 6230.
