BDO expands Liverpool team with graduate recruitment drive
BDO LLP, the accountancy and business advisory company, has completed a recruitment drive at its office in Liverpool.
This summer, the firm has recruited 12 accounting and finance graduates from Liverpool John Moores University to bolster its tax and accounts compliance operations. Further, the growth period has seen BDO welcome two new team leaders in line with an expansion of its service offerings.
While working from BDO’s Liverpool base, the new hires will support clients across the UK and overseas.
The recruitment drive follows another launched last summer, during which the firm took on eight graduates.
BDO partner Mark Sykes said the company is hiring individuals with “can-do attitudes” and the ability to provide “intelligent outsourcing”.
He commented: “As a city, Liverpool combines a wealth of excellent education with a vibrancy which meant it was the ideal location to grow this team.
“As we evolve our services into the digital age, businesses need up to date reliable financial data.”
Mark added: “In addition to the investment in our award winning innovation, BDO InTouch, this means we outstanding individuals to support our clients – our experience to date shows that Liverpool is the perfect location.”
BDO LLP, the UK member firm of the BDO International network, currently employs 3,500 people across 18 offices in the UK and has revenues close to £400m.
Globally, the BDO International business advisory services network has 1,400 offices and revenues of $7.3bn.
