New school clients deliver £1m employment and HR services milestone for SAS Daniels
Law firm SAS Daniels has hit the £1m mark for the annual value of contracts secured by its employment law and human resources offering, SAS Protect and HR Solutions.
The service, which provides clients such as schools, academies, colleges and SMEs with legal advice and on-site HR support, has seen growth of 10% over the last 12 months after attracting new schools in Yorkshire and the North West.
Today, SAS Daniels has more than 360 clients signed up to SAS Protect and HR Solutions, including 80 schools and academies.
Senior partner Jonathan Whittaker, who leads the firm’s employment team, said: “Too many education and business leaders feel that employment law prevents them from making changes which they believe are essential for success.
“That’s not true. We approach all issues in a proactive and pragmatic way to demonstrate how employment law can support the decisions that managers need to make.”
SAS Protect and HR Solutions currently operates with a team of 13 employment lawyers and HR professionals.
The head of SAS Daniels’ HR service, Chris Swerling, commented: “HR is a challenge for many companies and education clients, especially those who are working with trade unions.
“Often there aren’t enough resources internally to dedicate to HR matters, yet when the need arises it can fast become draining on a manager’s time and efforts.”
He continued: “Our success in growing the business to over £1m is testament to the innovative approach we bring to clients in managing staff matters.”
SAS Daniels has offices in Stockport, Chester, Macclesfield and Congleton.
