£5m funding for Wilmslow solicitors Roberts Jackson

Cheshire law firm Roberts Jackson Solicitors has secured a £5m finance package to support its growth and development aspirations.

The Wilmslow-based company will use the NatWest funding to refinance its existing borrowings at a lower overall cost and support plans to develop a new digital platform.

Further, Roberts Jackson hopes the seven-figure boost will allow it to deliver a quicker, more customer-centric legal process.

Karen Jackson, the firm’s CEO, said: “We are committed to providing access to justice for our customers and continuing to build upon and grow a business which puts its customers at the heart of everything that we do.

“The NatWest team demonstrated an excellent understanding of the issues and opportunities within our sector and a strong commitment to support our future plans for the business.”

The deal was supported by NatWest relationship director Nick Leeland along with Mike Malone, a director in the bank’s structured finance team.

Karen continued: “In shaping the new facility to suit our needs, Nick and his team convinced us that they were the best partner for the next stage in our development as we look to build upon our market-leading position.

“This deal also underlines the firm’s strong performance this year and its exciting plans for future growth in an ever changing regulatory market.”

Commenting on the deal, Nick said: “Roberts Jackson have an excellent reputation across the legal sector for their specialist advice and support.

“The funding arrangement will allow them to develop their business and we wish the firm every success for the future.”

Roberts Jackson Solicitors was founded in 2009 and provides legal services to those suffering from work-related occupational diseases.
