TyneMet offer over 40 different types of relevant and high quality apprenticeships including higher level skills programmes at Levels 4 and 5 (equivalent of degree level study) - offering viable opportunities in numerous sectors from engineering to business administration aimed at supporting wider economic growth.

Higher apprenticeships are available at a range of levels; apprentices benefit from gaining professional as well as academic qualifications. Higher apprentices learn entirely in the workplace, testing out new skills as they acquire them, offering a unique insight into industry.

Focused on delivering innovative, industry-geared advanced apprenticeships to drive higher level skills in the region, higher apprenticeships are distinctive, quality driven degree- level qualifications that combine theory with practical learning in specialised sectors.
