Vodafone to create 2,100 jobs across the UK as part of £2bn investment
Mobile phone giant Vodafone is set to create 2,100 jobs in the UK as part of a major employment expansion programme.
Around 800 jobs will be created at Vodafone’s existing customer services centre in Manchester, as well as nearly 150 in Newark, more than 150 in Stoke-on-Trent and around 100 in Glasgow.
In addition, the company announced that its third-party customer service partners will create a further 600 jobs in Newcastle, nearly 200 in the west of Scotland, and 100 in Cardiff.
This recruitment drive is part of Vodafone’s £2bn investment in its UK network and infrastructure.
