West Yorkshire digital marketing agency on the move as workforce expands

Splitpixel, the West Yorkshire digital marketing agency, has relocated to new office space at Heritage Exchange, Huddersfield, following a 20% rise revenue for 2016-17.

The company, which had been based at The Media Centre since its establishment in 2008, grew to an 11-strong team this spring following an array of new client wins, including employee and consumer engagement specialist Sodexo.

As a result, founders Greg Smuk and Charlie Herke sought a bigger space to accommodate the expansion of its workforce.

The company is currently recruiting for a new project director and skilled Magento web developer, to help support a forward order book that signals further 20% growth before the year-end.

Charlie said: “Marketing is sometimes considered a bit of a subjective profession, but we’ve always been a data-driven agency, which I think has helped us carve out a reputation in the crowded B2B marketplace.

“We’re big on bottom line benefits too, which means we consistently attract enquiries from £10m+ turnover companies as well as complex, multi-brand organisations.

“The next six to nine months are looking particularly positive, hence the need to grow our team – as well as the space around us!”

Providing services ranging from web design and development to SEO, inbound marketing and brand regeneration, Splitpixel now has more than 100 clients and a retention rate of 93%.

Splitpixel’s move to the new 1,400 sq. ft. space in the converted textile mill in Lindley coincides with the company reaching its 10th anniversary.

Greg added: “The world of digital marketing has changed a lot in the last 10 years. Clients are demanding more integrations, more intuitive personalisation, and a user experience that drives more conversions.

“A whole host of both technical and creative skills are therefore needed to achieve these criteria.

“But despite these challenges, we’ve succeeded in creating a culture that attracts some of the finest talent in the North. And with our vibrant new office, we’re even better placed to offer colleagues an inspiring place to work.”

The agency is also an official partner of both HubSpot and Google.
