Imperial’s programme has a firm reputation for opening doors to a wide range of careers for graduates, which is reflected in strong results for alumni career progression.
Commenting on the results Professor Francisco Veloso, Dean of Imperial College Business School, said: “I’m delighted that our MSc Management has risen six places in the rankings to claim the 14th position globally. This is a great achievement for the School which demonstrates the strength of our teaching and the innovative and intellectually rigorous nature of the programme. The rankings also reflect the ability of the school to be a global magnet for intellectual talent, demonstrated by the fact we have the highest number of international faculty of all schools.”
The results also showed 53 per cent of students on the current programme are female, reflecting Imperial’s work in addressing gender inequality. Fiona Sandford, Acting Associate Dean of programmes, said: “The MSc Management is a fantastic platform for women to launch their careers, providing students with the confidence and management skills needed to forge career pathways to senior leadership positions. This outstanding result reflects our continued efforts to address gender inequality within business education.”
The programme is an intensive, one-year, pre-experience programme designed to prepare recent graduates with the skills and knowledge necessary to build a successful career in management. Students enrolled benefit from high quality teaching from a wealth of international academics and have the opportunity to work on live businesses cases, company projects and participate in study abroad opportunities. The programme boasts an impressive track record with 93 per cent of last year’s class finding employment immediately after graduation.
