Liverpool’s Sefton Park Palm House partners with Yorkshire event planner

Sefton Park Palm House in Liverpool has announced a new tie-up with Yorkshire-based hospitality and event planner Dine.

The Grade II-listed Victorian property, set within in 235 acres of parkland on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre, is Dine’s first venues for private parties, corporate hospitality and weddings in the North West.

An octagonal, three-tiered glasshouse containing over 4,000 plants, the Palm House opened its doors in 1896 and today houses one of Britain’s oldest horticultural collections.

The new partnership will see Dine teaming up with the venue’s in-house events staff to develop local talent, which will include working with Liverpool catering business Relish, and create bespoke events.

Dan Gill, the founder of Leeds-based Dine, said: “We pride ourselves on delivering exquisite events in stunning surroundings and it’s a tremendous honour to be able to work in so many historic locations.

“Sefton Park Palm House is a wonderful venue and we will work with the team and the local community to ensure it can be enjoyed by future generations.”

He continued: “The revenue plan is in place and we’ve begun engagement with the key stakeholders, local talent and the community. We are really excited to start on what we know will be an incredible journey and a new chapter for Dine at Sefton Park Palm House.”
