Comms agency Peppermint Soda looks to Forever Creative for first acquisition
North West communications agency Peppermint Soda has acquired digital and creative consultancy Forever Creative.
The deal, representing Peppermint Soda’s first acquisition, was completed for an undisclosed sum.
The Cheshire- and London-based firm said the transaction will strengthen its digital, design and marketing offer.
As part of the agreement, the managing director of Altrincham-based Forever Creative, Jane Hudson, will joint Peppermint at its Hale HQ along with her team.
Peppermint Soda MD Jean-Philippe Glaskie said: “We’re absolutely thrilled to have completed the acquisition of Forever – the first of what we anticipate will be a number of similar deals.
“As such, we’re keen to speak to other like-minded, complementary agencies that are looking to join an ambitious and growing consultancy.”
He continued: “We’ve long admired Forever, its management team, ethos and approach to design and creative work. There are natural synergies between the two companies, so when the opportunity arose we jumped at the opportunity to bring the two together.
“We’re delighted to be welcoming Jane and her team onboard and we’re confident they will provide us with invaluable experience and expertise that will strengthen our 18-strong team.”
Jane Hudson, who will join Peppermint in the role of client services director, commented: “We’ve worked alongside Peppermint for a number of years and, during that time, we have built up a strong relationship and gained mutual respect and trust.
“I’m very much looking forward to getting stuck into my new role at Peppermint, as we look to help grow the agency’s integrated marketing communications offering in new and existing sectors.”
Charles Glaskie, corporate partner at law firm Gateley, advised Peppermint alongside Simon Kaye of accountants Lopian Gross Barnett.
