New team at the top as Teesside legal firm celebrates its most successful year to date

Endeavour Partnership has announced a new management team as it marks its most successful year in the firm’s 18-year history.

The Stockton-based business law firm is a year ahead of its anticipated growth plans and has appointed a new senior management team who will be responsible for the delivery of Endeavour’s ambitious business development strategy.

Paul Bury, one of the founding partners of Endeavour Partnership in 1999, remains as managing partner. He’s joined on the management team by Lee Bramley as finance partner, Stephen Elliott as HR partner and Sharon Hutchinson as operations director.

Lee Bramley joined Endeavour in 2002 and heads up the commercial disputes and insolvency teams, while Stephen Elliott leads the employment department, having joined the firm in 2015.

Sharon Hutchinson was recruited as Endeavour’s practice manager in 2014 and has since then played a pivotal role in the firm’s business development and recruitment.

Endeavour has restructured its management team to assist with its continuing expansion. With turnover at almost £3.5 million, Endeavour remains on track to deliver its five-year business planning objective of doubling its turnover during this period.

The Teesdale firm currently employs a team of 54 and hopes to create around six new jobs in 2018.

Endeavour Partnership has a reputation spanning over 18 years in providing high quality advice on a range of business law matters including mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, employment and pensions, business immigration, commercial property and corporate recovery and insolvency from its headquarters at Teesdale in Stockton.

Endeavour Partnership has again been recognised as one of the North East’s top corporate and commercial practices in the prestigious Legal 500 and Chambers guides with every department highly ranked.

Paul Bury said: “I have no doubt that Endeavour is Teesside’s leading business law firm and that judgement is backed by industry professionals who rank us alongside the top Newcastle and Leeds firms. We’ve developed a strong reputation across the North East and Yorkshire, advising a range of clients from SMEs to multi-national corporates. It’s been a buoyant 12 months for the whole firm and, as such, we are ahead of our growth plans.

“Our management team will play a pivotal role in taking us forward as we’re working with some very high-profile organisations and have ambitious growth plans for 2018. This has been a record-breaking year for us and I am very proud of the team who really have put us on the legal map.

“We’ve seen significant development in sectors including banking, manufacturing, retail, agriculture, waste management, tech and franchising- working with very small businesses and start-ups right up to large, global firms. We’re now in a strong position to move onwards with our firm’s development and to begin a period recruitment on Teesside.”

Endeavour works with a range of clients including HSBC, Santander, ESCO Corporation, Visualsoft, Atkinson Northern, Leven Investments, Yarm School and Cavendish Northern.
