LOFT Launch IIO IIO: A New Perspective For Modern Living
Manchester furnishing experts, LOFT, have drawn on their expertise in the fast-growing Build To Rent (BTR) market to launch a new brand that is set to shake up the private rental sector.
Established in February 2018, Twenty Twenty Living (IIO IIO) is a dedicated arm of parent company LOFT, offering residents a ‘life enhancing rental solution’ by giving developers affordable, stylish and ethically-sourced furnishings.
“The BTR sector is incredibly important for today’s rental population,” explains Benjamin Hall, Director of LOFT. “We’re experiencing a 25% annual increase on young, professional renters in the UK. By 2030, there is forecast to be 240,000 BTR homes; this is leading to £50bn worth of investment up to the year 2020.
“IIO IIO Living is part of our role in this market. We will distribute beautiful, cost-efficient furniture to developers who share our vision of creating aspirational, individual spaces where tenants want to live.”
The next generation of Build to Rent
LOFT have been active in the sourcing, delivery and installation of high-grade furnishing since 2004. Yet with the addition of IIO IIO, these services have a clear, tailored focus for BTR schemes. Thanks to part of a £1m investment fund, LOFT have expanded their capabilities with a 25,000 square foot warehouse, established in West London to meet the needs of developers embarking on large-scale, high-quality projects.
The launch of IIO IIO coincides with the opening of a Design Studio and co-working space in London’s Fitzrovia. This is designed to inspire the next wave of purpose-built development, giving young designers a space to work, network and see the variety and quality of tables, chairs, sofas, storage units and bed frames in person.
Creating spaces for living
Having expanded the team to enrich the brand’s BTR expertise, IIO IIO are able to advise on the best way to approach the fit-out of residential units.
“We work alongside architects, designers and contractors to create the perfect interior for any demographic, using our interior designers to make a space much more desirable for a rental audience. By partnering early, we can add value from Day One,” says Alec of IIO IIO.
Aftercare is another key element of the IIO IIO offering: “It’s important for us to maintain the far-reaching value of a great furniture piece,” Alec continues. “Our clients can trust us to back their purchases with a guarantee – one born out of nearly 15 years in the business.”
