Cashplus to create 400 jobs in Liverpool and London
Financial services firm Cashplus is creating hundreds of jobs in London and Liverpool as it looks to become a challenger bank.
The company confirmed plans to take on 400 additional staff across the two cities in the next five years, doubling its headcount.
Cashplus, a provider of MasterCards and current accounts for consumers and SMEs, has its headquarters in the capital and a customer services facility in Merseyside.
Founded 13 years ago, the company has since attracted more than 1.3 million customers in the UK, including over 100k business owners.
Cashplus’ founder and chief exec, Rich Wagner, said: “This is an exciting time in our history as we now move to become a challenger bank.
“We’ve got here because of the drive and determination of our people, who continually push the boundaries of traditional banking for the benefit of our customers – those typically overlooked by the high street banks.”
