Join the Dots celebrates sixth year of Graduate Development Programme
Global consumer insight agency, Join the Dots, has announced it will welcome four new recruits as part of its Graduate Development Programme in September 2018.
The MRS accredited programme was created in 2013 and to date the company has welcomed a total of 29 graduates from the UK and overseas into its research teams to complete the five-month programme.
Graduates are exposed to 130 hours of formal training which starts from the solid foundations of what research is and why it is important; how to use different methodologies; uncovering insights and how to communicate these in an impactful way.
The training is grounded in 20 years of insight expertise and is tailored to the company’s award-winning approach, which combines rigorous primary research with the latest thinking in psychology, behavioural economics and consumer trends.
The overall goal of the programme is to ensure that after five months the graduates are ready to hit the ground running in the agency’s research teams, working on the variety of live research projects for its international client base.
Tim Griffiths, learning and development manager at Join the Dots, said: “To be welcoming the sixth intake of candidates for the GDP is testament to the success and quality of the programme. Our training is combined with lots of opportunities for the graduates to put what they learn into practice, with hands-on project experience and placements in our research teams and other functions such as the Culture & Trends team.
“We also support our graduates via mentoring, coaching and regular one-to-one reviews. We believe the programme is very robust and detailed and will equip graduates with the knowledge, skills and opportunities required to have a successful career in research at Join the Dots.”
