Rural expert boosts Taylor&Emmet's Bakewell team
Taylor&Emmet LLP is expanding its Bakewell office with the appointment of a business legal specialist who has a passion for all things agricultural – especially cows!
Natalie Linehan has joined the Sheffield-based solicitors to handle commercial property matters, particularly in relation to agricultural law, such as land sales and lease renewals.
Having worked previously in the legal department at Bolton Metropolitan Borough Council, Natalie will be helping Taylor&Emmet meet growing demand for its commercial property services in the Peak District. She will be liaising closely with Bakewell-based partner, George Thomson, on a wide range of cases, many of which have an agricultural focus.
Natalie has been a member of the Agricultural Lawyers Association for some time and to fulfil her passion for dairy farming was, until recently, volunteering to milk cows at weekends.
George said: “On behalf of everyone at Taylor&Emmet’s Bakewell office, I would like to welcome Natalie to the team. She was educated locally and has worked across Derbyshire, so her knowledge of the area is second to none. Likewise, her enthusiasm for agricultural law is unsurpassed and I’ve no doubt she will establish a reputation as an expert in this field very quickly.”
