‘Impressively responsive’ and ‘top notch’ Teesside law firm leads the way in the in the North of England
Endeavour Partnership has again been recognised by two of the legal industry’s most influential guides as one of the leading corporate and commercial practices in the North.
Every department at Stockton-based Endeavour Partnership has been highly ranked by the trusted guide, The Legal 500, which also highlights key partners as some of the best in their fields of expertise.
In addition, the firm is included in the new edition of Chambers and Partners, with its corporate and commercial, commercial property and employment teams all ranked highly alongside key members of staff including managing partner Paul Bury.
In The Legal 500, Endeavour’s corporate and commercial team was named as a one of the best firms in the North of England and highlighted for being a regular fixture on high-value cross-border transactions, including commercial contracts for a broad client base such as large corporates, SMEs, individual shareholders, start-ups, banks, corporate financiers and investors. The guide describes the team as ‘very knowledgeable and responsive’, and Endeavour’s managing partner, Paul Bury, was singled out as one of the North East’s ‘leading individuals’, while senior associate Martin McKinnell was described as a ‘next generation lawyer’.
Endeavour Partnership’s commercial property team was praised for being ‘impressively responsive’ in its handling of a full range of property, development, leisure and property finance transactions. Jamie Brown was rated for his ‘very good knowledge of industrial property’, in addition to handling agricultural and renewable energy-related work and praised for being ‘well equipped to guide clients through high-value transactions’.
Endeavour’s commercial litigation team has been singled out for its ‘commercial acumen’ and particular growth in disputes in the construction sector where ‘sharp mind’ Alex Smith, who is also noted as being ‘hardworking and tactically astute’, regularly leads on construction and real estate-related disputes. Team head, Lee Bramley, was also singled out for being ‘highly intelligent and business-focused’ and ‘well connected in the Teesside business community’.
And the Legal 500 also praised Endeavour’s employment team for its levels of service which they described as ‘excellent’ and knowledge which is ‘top-notch’. The team’s head, Stephen Elliott, was singled out for his ability to ‘explain complex issues in a way that is readily understandable by clients’, advising on contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including data protection and pension issues.
