Law firm Shoosmiths finds new home in Sheffield’s Speedwell Works
UK law firm Shoosmiths LLP has established a new regional base in Speedwell Works development in Sheffield.
The full-service law firm, which has offices in several major cities across the country, has moved into the regenerated development on Sidney Road as part of a plan to build on its increasing profile in the region.
Thomas Hall, head of the Shoosmiths Sheffield team, said of the move: “We love being part of the regeneration of this part of Sheffield, and the Speedwell Works development very much reflects our innovative brand.”
The former factory site was previously derelict, but after an influx of development the area is establishing itself as the city’s new cultural industries quarter.
Dale Fixter, director at City Estates, commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Shoosmiths as our latest commercial tenant at the fantastic Speedwell Works development.
“We hope this is the start of a long, healthy relationship with another of the region’s industry leaders in its respective sector.”
