Marketing startup gets 'appy with Tees Valley business support

North East startup Red Button Marketing has launched its new limited company and app with support from Tees Valley Business Compass and DigitalCity.

Founded in 2016, Red Button Marketing is headed up by managing director Margaret Bradshaw and specialises in ideas-based marketing solutions, offering telemarketing training and motivational support to firms.

Through support and funding from local growth hub Tees Valley Business Compass and business support organisation DigitalCity, the business has been able to launch the limited company alongside its new app, which is designed to give businesses advice on best practice and organise their marketing activities.

Shak Asghar, growth services manager for Tees Valley Business Compass, supported managing director Margaret Bradshaw through the process, saying of the collaboration: “It’s been a significant impact because it’s really enabled the project to get underway.”

“It feels really great to see the journey that Margaret’s been on, how well she’s doing and where she’s taken her idea.”

Red Button Marketing’s app and limited company launches follow its opening of new premises in Darlington in 2018.

Commenting on the support received, managing director Margaret added: “Those engagements with the professionals has been just the support that I need, so I don’t feel totally alone. I would recommend that any other Tees Valley businesses looking to grow get in touch with Tees Valley Business Compass and DigitalCity.”
