North East recruitment firm upscales operations following international contract wins
North East firm SSK Recruitment has moved into bigger offices with intentions to expand further after securing contracts in Europe and the Middle East.
The County Durham-based recruitment specialist moved into new premises in the Novus Business Centre in Peterlee, following the securing of contracts with a large energy company in Holland as well as oil and gas firms in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
Founded in 2018 by Adam Smith, Paul Kelly and Bradley Saunders, SSK Recruitment specialises in recruiting for the offshore, industrial, construction, engineering and contact centre industries.
SSK Recruitment’s move to the larger office followed the hiring of three new members of staff, with the company undergoing a recruitment drive to expand its workforce further and potentially upgrade its offices again later this year.
Co-founder and managing director Adam Smith explained: “It is really is exciting times here at SSK Recruitment.
“We recently signed off on a contract in Holland and will be supplying blue and white collar workers to a large energy client who have wind farms and power stations across the whole of the Netherlands, so it’s big business for us.”
