Town planning consultancy officially launches in South Yorkshire
Planning consultancy Urbana Town Planning has officially launched in Sheffield following the opening of its headquarters earlier this month.
Urbana Town Planning has launched its headquarters in Sheffield city centre’s Steel City House, which will be its base of operations alongside the firm’s London office.
The firm, made up of former colleagues from Sheffield architecture firm Coda, is already involved in the £70m Hoyle Street development, which will provide around 500 residential units and 6,000 sq ft of commercial space in the city.
Adam Murray, Managing Director of Urbana Town Planning, explained: “This is a new chapter for our team, which builds on the strong platform we built together with our former colleagues from Coda.
“We are seeing comparable growth in other parts of the country, which is why Urbana will continue to support clients across the UK from our offices in Sheffield and London. We see nothing but opportunity.
Charles Dunn, associate at Urbana, added: “We are all hugely passionate about the built environment. We are fascinated with how it impacts the way in which our cities work.
“This is particularly relevant in Sheffield – the city we call home. We’re determined to see it grow in the best way possible and want our business to be at the heart of the great projects that drive it forward.”
