Recruitment firm to boost digital offering with new Leeds base
Recruitment firm Hays has officially launched its new office in Leeds city centre to bolster its plans for growth.
The 90-strong team of recruitment specialists has moved into a 12,800 sq ft office in the city’s Broad Gate development.
Jackie Mordue, managing director of Hays Yorkshire & The North, commented: “We’re really pleased to have moved into a fantastic new office space in the heart of the centre.
“The space accommodates our growing team in a great new environment as well as allowing for future expansion.”
The move forms part of the firm’s plan to grow its offering in the IT and digital sectors, alongside strengthening its construction and property propositions.
Jackie continued: “As Leeds continues to establish itself as a prominent tech hub, we’re looking forward to being able to expand our team to continue to support businesses who are competing for top technology talent.
“With recent figures revealing Yorkshire’s digital technology firms have a total turnover of £3.7bn, there’s a wealth of opportunity for our team to be able to build relationships with businesses and job seekers alike as start-ups through to corporates look to establish a base in Leeds and throughout Yorkshire.”
