Yorkshire law firm set for further regional expansion with new branch

A Yorkshire law firm has opened its latest premises in the region during a period of expansion.

Leeds-headquartered Ison Harrison has opened a new office in Barnsley, bringing the firm’s total Yorkshire premises up to 14.

The news follows a period of expansion for the firm, after the opening of offices in York and in Otley near Leeds in 2018.

Jonathan Wearing, Ison Harrison’s managing partner, explained: “Our expansion throughout the region continues with this latest office launch into South Yorkshire, helping us to further boost the firm’s regional footprint.

“Our continued growth is central to our objective of maintaining a visible high street presence as this helps us to strengthen relationships with our clients and the communities we operate in.

“We’re eager to get involved in local community activities in Barnsley and to begin providing the expert legal services for which we are well known across the region.”

Located on Regent Street, the new Barnsley office will be led by clinical negligence solicitor Anne Robertson, who was formerly based at the firm’s head office in Leeds city centre.

Anne Robertson added: “Naturally I’m delighted that Barnsley has been selected as the latest addition to Ison Harrison’s growing number of regional offices as I know the area so well and understand its requirements from a business perspective.
