North East solicitor heads west to support law firm growth

A Tyneside solicitor is relocating to the North West in order to support a growing law firm.

Litigation specialist Peter Maughan from Whickham has joined PMR Solicitors at its headquarters at Blackpool Airport.

Peter, who has 40 years of medical negligence knowledge, will lead the legal team at PMR Solicitors, joining the firm during a period of increased demand for medical negligence and financial mis-selling legal services.

Peter commented: “It’s an exciting move to be heading up the PMR litigation team in Blackpool and I’m looking forward to representing people whose health and financial situation has suffered unduly.

“There has been an incremental rise in financial mis-selling and medical negligence claims in recent years and that means much greater demand for the services we’re offering.

“Whilst our aim is to settle cases as early as possible, most people are finding that going to court is their only route to resolution and so they need expert advice.”
