Truck and engine parts specialist drives growth with six-figure Barclays investment

A West Yorkshire-based firm specialising in truck and engine parts is set to expand operations after securing funding from Barclays.

Imexpart Ltd (IMEX) is set to replace its existing fleet of commercial vehicles with 22 new Mercedes vans, supported by a six-figure funding package from the bank.

Arthur Pinkney, owner and Managing Director of IMEX, explained: “We are delighted to be investing further in our commercial van fleet which helps us to futureproof our services to new and existing customers across the UK.

“This will allow us to increase our capacity as well as making sure we have the best resources available to meet growing demand and deliver the highest level of customer service.”

Founded more than 33 years ago and headquartered at Castleford, the firm employees a team of 70, supplying replacement truck parts and all makes of engine parts at depots around the UK.

“We’re pleased to have been able to continue to support their growth plans since it’s outset in 1986 and add scale to their business, which in turn supports their customers and the local economy.”
