PHMG listed in Sunday Times ‘Best Companies to Work For 2020’ list

Manchester-based PHMG has been ranked as one of the top 100 Best Companies to Work for by the Sunday Times.

The world-leading audio branding agency placed 49th in the publication’s Best Companies to Work For 2020 list, based on staff rankings for wellbeing, pay and benefits, leadership and other categories, showcasing their ‘outstanding’ commitment to workplace engagement.

In the survey, 94 per cent of PHMG staff said they believe they can make a valuable contribution to the success of the organisation, while a further 94 per cent said that they found their team enjoyable to work with.

“It is such an honour to have been named in this prestigious list,” said Mark Williamson, CSMO at PHMG. “And the fact it was all down to our employees makes the achievement all the more important.

“Our staff are the lifeblood of our business, so we’ve made sure our culture is focused around staff welfare and providing a highly supportive working environment – something which we are very proud of.”

The company is now focusing on what comes next. They’ve put together a dedicated impact group that’ll act as a liaison between staff and management to deliver feedback and implement new ideas across the business. By speaking with people across every department, they’ll make voices heard, and ensure PHMG keeps on improving to reflect staff wants and needs.

“I would like to congratulate PHMG on their achievement,” said Jonathan Austin, CEO and Founder of Best Companies.

“Best Companies have been producing the accreditation standard since 2006 to acknowledge excellence in the workplace. Organisations like PHMG have continued to focus on their employees and have been rewarded with an engaged workforce who tell us that this is a best company to work for.”
