Doncaster security firm locks down expansion plans with six-figure HSBC funding

A security specialist in South Yorkshire is set for expansion after securing a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK.

R&S Security, which is based in Doncaster, is to relocate to new headquarters on Cowhouse Lane in Armthorpe.

Established in 2007 by Richard Sanders and Scott Parkinson, R&S Security installs and maintains security systems, CCTV, gate and barrier automation systems and fire alarms across the region, as well as offering security advice.

The move to the new premises is the firm’s first step of a five-year expansion plan to introduce new operating systems to customers, double its number of employees and to bring in new business.

Richard Sanders, managing director of R&S Security, commented: “With HSBC UK’s support we’ve been able to develop a new state of the art premises, after outgrowing our previous one which we bought back in 2012.

“The new site showcases how far our business has come and the breadth of our offer to our customers, giving them the reassurance, they need now and in the future.”

Rebecca Pearce, relationship manager in South & East Yorkshire, HSBC UK, added: “We’re excited to support a dynamic Yorkshire business that has come so far in just 13 years.

“Our backing will provide the additional capacity needed for the company to meet its ambitious five-year growth plans. We look forward to seeing the team win new customers and create new local jobs in the next years to come.”
