Sydney Mitchell invest in Senior Appointments
Sydney Mitchell LLP, Top Tier Legal 500 Law Firm, is pleased to announce senior appointments despite the challenges that coronavirus and lockdown has brought to the legal sector.

We have secured a number of talented professionals to join our corporate, family and private client teams in Birmingham, Shirley and Sheldon.
Our senior appointments include:
- Andrew Ward – Associate – joins our corporate team
- Gemma Whitchurch – Associate – joins the family team
- Anita Gindhay – Solicitor – joins the private client team
Andrew Ward joins Sydney Mitchell LLP from Continuum Corporate Lawyers LLP. Andrew is a corporate lawyer with experience in a number of areas including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, management buy outs, group reorganisations and EMI schemes. Andrew also has experience in franchise law having trained in a specialist franchise law firm.
Gemma Whitchurch joins the firm from Irwin Mitchell. She has practised exclusively in Family Law since 2008 advising on all aspects of family law from divorce, finances, children matters, adoption, surrogacy, pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation, domestic violence and emergency remedies.
Anita Gindhay joins our Private Client team firm from FBC Manby Bowdler. Anita deals with a broad range of private client matters including probate and estate administration, advising on and preparing Lasting Power of Attorney documents and Wills and Trusts.

I believe our firm will be stronger as we emerge from the coronavirus, the resilience that our people have shown throughout the last few months is testament to their commitment to work through whatever problems they are faced with. I am proud to welcome our new recruits into the fold.
