Northumberland SMEs secure tech boost with digital business support
Hundreds of SMEs across Northumberland have secured support for enhancing their digital capabilities amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Business Northumberland has supported firms across the county with a range of digital marketing workshops to enable them to continue trading during the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdown.
The Business Northumberland team has now delivered over 40 digitally focused workshops to nearly 400 delegates across Northumberland.
Business Northumberland commented: “In light of the current situation and the impact it is having on businesses, [we are] so proud of the whole team working hard to ensure Business Northumberland can continue to offer digital support to SMEs across the North East, and to help them adapt to the new way of business.”
“Looking forward, the support programme plans to deliver a hybrid of online and face to face workshops.
“The feedback from the workshops has been phenomenal, and although staff members and delegates are keen to return to face to face events, the offer of virtual workshops eliminates the geographical issues we often face covering such a large county.”
