‘Record’ growth for London biometric tech firm with 549% global user increase

A London-based biometric authentication specialist has announced ’record; growth during 2020.

Tech firm iProov has seen its revenue more than double this year, with a 549 per cent increase in global users of its verification technology.

Founded by Andrew Bud, iProov specialises in biometric authentication services by utilising existing smartphone and device technology.

Since the start of the year, iProov has added new customers to its portfolio on a range of projects, including a new partnership with the NHS to create secure remote logins, and a scheme to provide contactless travel entry for Eurostar.

The firm also saw its international presence grow during 2020 with the launch of its first US headquarters and an office in Singapore, and has grown its global team by more than 29 per cent.
