Shark Launches Educational Videos to Help with Home Schooling Amid COVID-19

Leading vacuum brand, Shark has announced its partnership with national digital radio station, Fun Kids.

Fun Kids Radio and Shark have teamed up together to form a discussion amongst children on developing a product. The fun videos see a brother and sister, Jack and Holly, learning the process of what it takes to make and sell a vacuum cleaner for the Fun Kids’ website.

It is hoped that the series of 10 episodes will be a useful and engaging resource for kids and parents who are home schooling during lockdown. Each video aims to teach kids a new lesson about industry – whether that’s learning about prototypes, product development, price and promotion or retailing.

To supplement each episode, the Fun Kids website provides additional information which recaps the lessons learned in the video; encouraging children to broaden their thinking and conduct their own research by providing question prompts to ask their friends and family.

Jess Levy, VP Marketing EU for Shark, said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with Fun Kids Radio on this series of exciting and educational videos for children. We understand how tough home schooling can be on children and parents alike – hopefully the videos will not only spark kids’ imagination, but provide a new way to have fun and learn at the same time.”
