Immersive tech accelerator launches to support growth of London SMEs
A new accelerator programme has launched to support SMEs interested in incorporating immersive technologies into their operations.
London South Bank University has partnered with London College of Communication, UAL to launch a three-month accelerator programme for SMEs across the capital.
Through the programme, London-based SMEs and startups based in London will have the opportunity to receive support from academics, consultants and industry specialists, exploring how immersive tech such as augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) can help them expand their business operations and reach new audiences.
The free programme is set to welcome its spring-summer cohort starting in April and will include interactive online workshops, live webinars and a prototyping phase.
ACE IT, the initiative developed by LSBU and LCC under the umbrella of South Bank Innovation, launched in 2020 in a bid to support small and medium businesses from development and prototype to product launch.
