Modular housebuilder CoreHaus has recruited seven new members of staff to its growing team.

Robin Gill has been appointed as technical manager, Dan Selby has joined the firm as production manager, while Chris Archer, Adam Willis, Kenny Walker, Peter Rowe and Paul Seager have come onboard as technicians.

Robin has operated as a principal engineer with more than 42 years’ experience in multiple sectors ranging from power generation to high-performance aerospace manufacturing and process development.

Dan is a senior operations manager with a technical background in construction. He has around 17 years’ experience in modern methods of construction.

Scott Bibby, MD of CoreHaus, said: “Both Robin and Dan bring a wealth of different experience to their roles. Dan’s background is more directly related to the modular construction environment whereas Robin brings a technical engineering, product quality and process control to the team.

Paul joins CoreHaus as a fully qualified domestic gas and plumbing engineer having also worked in the rail manufacturing industry.

Peter has a varied background predominantly within high level engineering companies such as Maclaren Racing and Hitachi.

Kenny comes to the new role with construction experience combined with military aviation and manufacturing.

Adam joins fresh from a lightweight steel manufacturer with experience in timber-frame modular construction too.

Chris brings a wealth of experience from a range of roles within construction and engineering.

Commenting on the recruitment drive, Scott added: “We’re doing something different in the modular housebuilding sector and need people who think and work differently.

“Our production and designs draw on modern, technical skills and innovation. We have a real opportunity to break the current mould, bring about change in housebuilding and construction.”

Lisa Grant, Atlantic and Peninsula Marine Services (A&P)

Atlantic and Peninsula Marine Services (A&P) has appointed Lisa Grant as group procurement and supply chain director.

Lisa has more than 20 years’ experience in supply chain management, having worked across a number of sectors including construction, engineering, defence and housing.

Lisa joins the Group from Amey Services Ltd, where she was responsible for leading the business’ Supply Chain and Commercial Transformational Programme. Previous positions include roles at Amey Defence Services and Balfour Beatty.

Lisa will draw upon her experience to develop supply chain strategies for A&P Group and Atlantic and Peninsula Australia, which will support the requirements of each facility, whilst maintaining a centralised approach.

Graeme Littledyke, group finance director, commented: “Lisa’s appointment will allow the Group to take a more strategic and group-wide view of our supplier relationships and purchasing behaviours in order to underpin profitable growth and build the core business.

“Lisa’s extensive expertise and insights will bring huge value to the group and we welcome her to the business.”

Maria McKenna, Haines Watts North East

Haines Watts North East has appointed Maria McKenna as corporate finance manager.

Maria joins the firm with over sixteen years’ experience in the industry, and brings a range of knowledge in forensic accounting and business valuations.

Corporate finance associate partner, Chris Hird, commented: “I am thrilled to welcome Maria to the team.

“Having worked alongside her in the past, I know that her breadth of knowledge and level of expertise will be invaluable, as we look to support more clients through these challenging times.”

Maria added: “I received a very friendly welcome to the firm. Despite the limitations that come with Covid, Haines Watts have obviously put some careful thought into ensuring new team members feel a warm reception.

“It is a great time to join the Corporate Finance team here as there is so much going on. I’m delighted to be working with Chris and looking forward to working on the current deals and valuations, as well as looking for new opportunities to build the department.”

Michael Vachon, Noveltea

Alcoholic tea brand, Noveltea has appointed Michael Vachon as non-executive director.

Michael joins the board at Noveltea offering a decade of experience within the drinks industry as co-founder of craft spirits distributor Maverick Drinks (part of Atom Group, acquired by ZX Ventures in 2018).

Originally from the US, Michael has already established his entrepreneurial career following the completion of an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School which led him to embark on his journey into drinks distribution and craft spirits, working with brands in the UK and across Europe.

Michael commented: “Noveltea is such an exciting brand and its products appeal to everyone from tea lovers, to craft spirits enthusiasts, to those seeking a bit more balance in their lives.

“The team have made some remarkable progress so far and I’m looking forward to helping accelerate their growth in the years ahead.”
