“Luxurious” apartment scheme takes shape in North Yorkshire spa town
Construction of a new residential development is getting underway in a North Yorkshire spa town.
The new Lime Garth development is being developed by YorPlace and Square Feet on Kings Road in Ilkley.
The new development will offer 10 two and three bedroom apartments, including a pair of penthouses.
Set to be marketed by estate agent Dacre, Son & Hartley, the development is scheduled to complete in spring 2022.
Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacre, Son & Hartley, commented: “Lime Garth will be unlike anything Ilkley has seen before, offering a unique collection of modern and luxurious apartments that all combine very generous living space with a beautiful, high quality finish.
“The development is in a lovely location, in a quiet, leafy residential street, which is just a few minutes’ walk from The Grove.
“At just over half an acre, the site offered lots of development potential, but was previously occupied by a modest sized three-bedroom house and although it was attractive, it needed modernising.
“The house has now been demolished to make way for this development which will be of a density that is more suited to the size of the site as well as creating much needed new homes in Ilkley.”
