Kirsteen McFadzean, LCF Law

Law firm LCF Law has appointed Kirsteen McFadzean as business development director.

Kirsteen brings a range of experience to the role after previously overseeing business development at several regional, national and international law firms.

Kirsteen has experience of harnessing a full range of business development activities to drive growth in the legal industry, as well as creating sales and marketing strategies spanning PR, events, seminars, sponsorship, advertising, online and social media.

Kirsteen commented: “LCF Law has a solid reputation as a growing and ambitious law firm, with a large team across offices in Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate and Ilkley, who are straight talking and always approachable.

Georgia Moy and Sarah Griffiths, Andrew Jackson Solicitors

Law firm Andrew Jackson Solicitors has appointed Georgia Moy and Sarah Griffiths as paralegals.

Georgia will provide support to the firm’s employment team across contentious and non-contentious matters, including carrying out research on legal cases, and assisting with the preparation of related documents.

Sarah will assist the client service and compliance team by providing in-house support to the firm in relation to its statutory and regulatory obligations.

Katie Coxall, Danielle Butler, Bethany Lunt and Shona Stringer, Scriba PR

Technical communications specialist Scriba PR has made four new appointments to its team.

Katie Coxall joins as account manager, Danielle Butler comes onboard as digital marketing executive, Bethany Lunt joins as PR executive and Shona Stringer has been appointed as executive assistant.

Katie joins the B2B PR firm from Open Communications Ltd, where she looked after messaging for the likes of HARIBO and The Yorkshire Mafia.

With a range of agency experience and a masters degree in linguistics, Katie’s passion for the written word will see her lead on several of Scriba’s complex client accounts – including employee relations technology and workplace data analytics.

Danielle is a specialist in visual content who also volunteers for the CIM’s Yorkshire Regional Board as events and education ambassador. She comes from a higher education background, having worked at the University of Huddersfield for the last seven years.

Having recently graduated with a 2:1 in marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University, Bethany is responsible for drafting social media, newsletter, and web news copy, as well as helping with the distribution of press releases and collation of coverage.

Executive assistant Shona has swapped a career in personal training to work closely with Scriba’s management team to oversee the running of the comms agency’s Huddersfield HQ.

Mark Grayson, Rider Levett Bucknall UK

Construction, property and management consultancy Rider Levett Bucknall UK (RLB) has appointed Mark Grayson as national head of industrial & manufacturing.

Mark joins from Faithful+Gould where he headed up a team that grew revenue by delivering global clients’ projects into local markets. Mark will take a similar approach in his new role, capitalising on the established RLB global connections and key clients to drive growth and delivery in UK regions.

Alongside his specialised experience in the automation of industrial and manufacturing estates for the food & beverage and automotive sectors, Mark will also bring knowledge of decarbonisation activity for the built environment.

Matt Summerhill, managing partner for RLB UK, commented: “Mark’s appointment reflects how integral the North is to us as a region and the importance of the region to our growth as a company.

“With the North steeped in manufacturing history it makes perfect sense for Mark, who comes from Sheffield and whose experience lies within the manufacturing & built environment to join RLB.”

Chantelle Darkings and Beth Ward, ORB Recruitment

ORB Recruitment has appointed Chantelle Darkings as recruitment consultant and Beth Ward as recruitment resourcer.

One of the key tasks for Chantelle will be placing permanent candidates in a new call centre as part of a major new contract for ORB.

Chantelle commented: “The business ethos here at ORB and just generally how they operate as a company fits perfectly to what I was looking for in an employer. Everyone is down to earth and friendly and you are able to manage your time yourself.”

Beth takes on a varied role that includes pre-screening potential candidates, carrying out inductions and managing temporary workers.
