Leading Chester Employment Law, HR and Health & Safety firm Ellis Whittam becomes WorkNest
Ellis Whittam – the Chester-based employment law, HR, and health & safety specialist – has announced it has joined associated businesses owned by Marlowe plc to become WorkNest.
The firm’s Aldford, Chester office will become the headquarters for the new £35m WorkNest brand. Gavin Snell, CEO of Ellis Whittam will take on a new leadership role as CEO of WorkNest, with other Ellis Whittam team members taking up senior positions.
Marlowe plc acquired Ellis Whittam in October 2020; one of several recent acquisitions made by the leaders in business-critical services and software.
Mark Ellis founded Ellis Whittam in 2004 to provide high-quality employment law, HR, and health and safety services for businesses based on fair, fixed fees. In 2020 it was recognised as a ‘leading firm’ in the prestigious Legal 500 index, which assesses the strengths of law firms in over 150 jurisdictions.
