Further franchise growth for Rise

Rise, the franchise offering a range of seated sports and adapted activities for the health and social care sectors, has seen two more territories join following its launch just four months ago.

Rise offers a range of activities based on games, sports and dance. These activities are tailored to people’s physical ability or cognitive capacity to bring health and wellbeing benefits.

Rise was launched by North West entrepreneur and franchising specialist, Trevor Brocklebank in September 2021, with its first two franchise territories in south Wales. This has now been followed by territories which will open this month in Epsom and Warrington & Halton.

Debbie and Andrew Heffernan have become Rise franchisees in Epsom, Surrey with the activities in Warrington & Halton being run by Rise employees Daisy Webber and Vicki Martin.

On becoming a franchisee, Debbie Heffernan said, “We are excited to be on board with Rise and can see how it will enable us to deliver real benefits to people in our local community.

“We have known Trevor for a number of years through the care sector; his reputation is second to none. We really can’t wait to get started.”

Trevor Brocklebank commented, “It’s fantastic to be able to expand the network so early on.

“We are speaking to many people who are re-considering their futures and want to take control by setting up their own business. And they are also looking for sustainable businesses that give back – we certainly tick these boxes.”
