Automotive consultancy MotorVise Scoops Industry Recruitment Award For Second Consecutive Year

Automotive consultancy MotorVise has been named Recruitment Agency of the Year for a second year running at the prestigious Motor Trader Industry Awards.

Featuring the very best in the industry, the accolade was presented to company founder and managing director Fraser Brown in front of a 1,000-strong audience at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.

The business, based in Richmondshire, North Yorkshire, has seen demand for its recruitment services increase 60 percent over the past 12 months as dealerships throughout the UK continue to rebuild and respond to the challenges of a post-pandemic world.

Many dealerships have recognised the need to ensure they recruit those with the right skills and attitudes that ensure they can deliver exceptional levels of customer service, whilst also addressing a traditional gender and ethnic imbalance within the sector.

MotorVise, which works with 26 brands across Europe, six of the top 10 UK dealer groups and directly for six OEMs, has become an acknowledged leader in automotive retail recruitment in recent years.

It manages the whole process from initial vacancy advertising to organising and leading assessment days on behalf of both single site operators through to multi-site dealership groups.

Having worked in the motor trade for several years, Fraser founded MotorVise in 2014 from his kitchen table, using £12,000 from a credit card, and working up to 120 hours a week over the first 12 months to establish the business.

He said: “I believe MotorVise is now one of the biggest recruiters within automotive retail and I’m extremely proud and honoured to have received this award for a second consecutive year.

“It’s also a recognition of the hard work and dedication of the talented team that ensures MotorVise delivers on its simple aims of ensuring dealerships increase revenue, profitability, and customer loyalty.

“Recruitment is a huge part of that and in recent years the industry has increasingly recognised that delivering an outstanding customer experience is directly linked to running a successful and profitable business.”

MotorVise also supports dealerships with a range of car sales events, staff training, a mystery shopper service, together with showroom software that streamline processes to improve productivity and profitability.
