Stuart Caldwell, Yodel

Yodel has appointed a new chief financial officer to continue the trajectory of the business following another successful financial year. Stuart Caldwell will succeed Ben Mitchell, who is taking on a new role with the company as chief strategy & planning officer.

Stuart brings a wealth of experience to Yodel, having spent nearly 30 years working in finance, particularly in the retail and consumer finance space.

He joins from online retail group, Studio Retail Group plc, where he was Group CFO and spent his earlier career in senior financial roles at Provident Financial plc after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen.

Mike Hancox, CEO of Yodel, commented: “Stuart brings a wealth of experience to the role, whilst Ben will continue to drive business momentum under his new position as Chief Strategy & Planning Officer, reinforcing our commitment to invest in people that will help take the business to the next level.”

Katherine Woodfine, Growth Lending

Funding partner for fast-growth businesses, Growth Lending, has appointed Katherine Woodfine as director of debt finance to strengthen its team and support more UK businesses in securing funding to achieve their goals and growth ambitions.

Bringing more than 14 years’ experience in the financial services industry, including eight years specialising in private equity and debt investment, Katherine has worked with a broad range of businesses across the UK, holding Investment Manager positions at Horizon Capital and Puma Investments.

Katherine commented: “I’m excited to join such an entrepreneurial and dynamic business where people and culture are central to everything we do. Against a backdrop of prolonged uncertainty, more UK businesses are seeking external support to overcome cash flow challenges and fuel growth plans.

Lee Slater, Agilio

Agilio Software’s Dental division is to be further strengthened by the appointment of a new head of commercial. Lee Slater has joined the business to lead its Commercial and Corporate Implementation teams and enhance Agilio’s business support propositions to dental organisations.

The former multi-practice business manager for Henry Schein and head of corporate sales of Dental Buying Group (DBG) will work closely with the recently appointed dental managing Director, Andy Sloan, on showcasing the benefits of Agilio’s products to the dental market and supporting the continuous growth of the company’s customer base.

Lee is an experienced business manager, with a successful 20-year track record in sales across a number of industries, the latter half in the dental market. At Henry Schein, he worked with a team of 35 field sales staff and led a group of specialised business consultants to triple the revenue of the company’s small to mid-sized corporate sector.

Lee commented: “I am excited to have been appointed to lead the commercial and corporate implementation teams at Agilio. It is a business with unique expertise and an outstanding product portfolio, talented team, and enviable reputation as a leader in dentistry.

“My primary focus will be working with the team to deliver a step-up in business performance, as we support dental organisations in streamlining and more effectively running their businesses through digital solutions.”

Andy Sloan, managing director of Agilio Software Dental, added: “We are delighted to welcome Lee as our new head of commercial, to support Agilio’s rapid growth and further expansion in our chosen sectors. Lee is a dynamic, values-driven business leader with excellent industry experience.”
