Logistics tech company to bring more women into industry with recruitment drive
In celebration of International Women’s Day, we hear from Manchester based DeliveryApp, the disruptive logistics technology company, which is targeting “huge growth” in the multi-billion pound same-day delivery market.
The company reported a revenue increase of 2,000 per cent from 2021 to 2022 and is now looking to dramatically increase headcount by 50+ staff in 2023.
DeliveryApp was created to solve “long-standing problems” that exist in the logistics industry. Combining technology with a focus on “ethical driver treatment and a more transparent customer experience”, DeliveryApp provides a solution which connects couriers and customers – providing all the delivery information at their fingertips.
Recruiting across all areas of the business, DeliveryApp already has a nationwide network of self-employed drivers with over 16,000 registered drivers and growing.
