Hampshire housebuilder employees get “nosey” for Comic Relief

Employees at Barratt Homes’ Southampton Division have been ‘nosing around’ the office this week for a special Comic Relief fundraiser.

Getting together to ‘do something funny for money’, workers at the leading developer’s headquarters in Hedge End, Southampton, have been wearing red noses and eating pic-n-mix sweets in return for a donation. And, with the money rolling in, the housebuilder has already raised an impressive £200 for Comic Relief.

Always keen to support organisations that need it, Barratt was quick to arrange the ‘comical’ fundraiser and is pleased to help the charity which is supporting the incredible projects making a difference for people across the globe.

Tamsin Nichols, a member of Barratt’s Charity Committee, said: “Comic Relief is such a worthwhile cause and to do our own small bit to help has been a pleasure. We have had great fun today and it has been hilarious seeing everyone waeing their red noses around the office.”

Comic Relief, or Red Nose Day, 2024 is on Friday 15th March, and like Barratt, people across the country will be fundraising in its honour.

In the UK and around the world people are facing the impact of poverty and injustice. By donating to Comic Relief, the charity can help put food on plates, roofs over heads and keep little ones safe.
