Hatmill named UK’s best workplace
A North Yorkshire-based supply chain and logistics consultancy has been crowned the UK’s best workplace for 2025.
Hatmill, renowned for its unique self-managing culture and employee ownership, won the medium-sized (50-499 employees) category at the prestigious Best Workplaces Awards, held by Great Place To Work® at London’s Grosvenor House.
Following its victory in the small business category last year, Hatmill impressed the judges again with a remarkable 100 per cent employee satisfaction rate.
And the company, which works with major brands such as Asda, Greggs, NHS England and Jet 2, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions to enhance warehouse, transport and inventory operations, topped this year's list after a rigorous survey and interview process with its staff.
Simon Dixon, founder and chief executive of Hatmill, which secured B corp certification last year, said: “I’m proud Hatmill has been recognised as THE Best Place to Work.
“Our self-managing culture is the key reason people love working at Hatmill.
“A team that enjoys work always produces the best results, particularly for our clients.
“Creating a great place to work is central to leading a business, and to be ranked in first place is an honour and credit to our amazing team.’’
