Law firm tackles new role with Castleford Tigers
A law firm is tackling a fresh sporting role in a new rugby partnership.
Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors has been appointed the official legal partner of Super League side Castleford Tigers.
Bosses say the firm will provide support across areas including player and staff contracts, HR and employment compliance, sporting regulation and immigration advice and visas.
The two-season alliance strengthens Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors’ presence in the rugby landscape, with deals already in place with Leeds Rhinos, Huddersfield Giants, Wakefield Trinity, Bradford Bulls and Halifax Panthers.
It was also last month named Huddersfield Town Football Club’s official legal partner.
Sam Pawson, partner and head of employment, said: “Our partnership with Castleford Tigers marks an exciting step in our growing involvement in professional sport.
“It also reflects our commitment to supporting the sporting and wider business community in Yorkshire.”
Craig Jeffels, Castleford Tigers’ commercial director, added: “We are delighted to welcome Chadwick Lawrence as our official legal partner for the next two seasons.
“Not only will they manage the club’s HR requirements, they will also be assisting with immigration and player visas.
“We look forward to building a strong partnership.”
Chadwick Lawrence Solicitors has offices in Bradford, Guiseley, Halifax, Horbury, Huddersfield, Leeds, Morley and Wakefield.
