Beyond Housing recruits 14 new apprentices
Beyond Housing has welcomed 14 new apprentices across Redcar & Cleveland and Scarborough as part of its 2025 intake.
The programme offers paid, structured training leading to professional qualifications, with at least half of roles reserved for residents and customers of Beyond Housing’s employability services.
Apprentices split their time between college and on-the-job experience, typically over two years.
The new cohort will take up roles in areas including business administration, customer service, ICT, asset and sustainability, housing management, property services, maintenance and electrical.
Since 2019, 85 per cent of Beyond Housing’s apprentices have stayed with the organisation, with many progressing into permanent roles or higher-level training.
Maria Taylor, apprentice and volunteer team leader at Beyond Housing, said: “It is great that we can offer such a variety of roles, some of which are new apprenticeship standards for us and at higher levels.
“I am excited to support all the new apprentices joining us and I’m looking forward to being part of their apprenticeship journey.”
